Does the QR pass expire?
Yes. Single-use passes expire once they're used; multi-use ones, once their uses run out or their end date arrives; recurring ones only work on the days and hours you defined.
Can I invite several people with one pass?
Yes. When you create the pass, choose how many entries it allows and how long it's valid: one pass with eight uses covers the whole gathering, and it stops working as soon as the entries run out or the date lapses.
Will I be told when my guest arrives?
Yes. As soon as your guest is logged in at the entrance, you get the alert in the app —with their name and the time— without the gate having to call you.
Can the gate log a visit with no pass?
Yes. The staff at the entrance logs it by hand —name, host unit and ID— and that visit lands in the same log as the ones with a pass, with its time and who logged it.
Does the gate know which visits are expected today?
Yes. The first thing the gate sees when it opens Visits is today's valid passes: who may arrive, from which unit and who invited them. It's the list of who has been announced, not an arrival time —each pass carries its own validity window— and the moment a guest is logged in they move to the active visits.
